The SGA Golf Club
Want a handicap and to play competitively? Our affiliated Golf Club based at the academy offers just that. Contract holders (members) of SGA can join the SGA Golf Club for £30 (this affiliation fee is paid to England Golf to administer your handicap).
The Golf Club operates a full calendar of competitions and social events; simply hand in 3 cards for a handicap and you’re away! If competition is not for you, then there is no pressure to take part, however, to retain a WHS handicap you must play in three qualifying competitions.
Perhaps uniquely, our club is very diverse and has no specific mens or womens sections. All play from the par 3 tees with WHS Handicaps allowing for varying standards of playing ability, therefore all competitions are mixed. The clubs ethos is to welcome all players to social and relaxed competition.
