Juniors come high on our list of priorities at the Golf Academy. For the last 15 years the Junior Golf Academy has been one of the most successful in the UK. We offer a range of options to give all children their best environment to learn.
Although good technique is the central subject matter of the lessons, we aim to incorporate aspects of etiquette and rules as much as possible as these are the elements that we feel set golf apart from other sports in terms of a child’s development. With our full range of outdoor, covered and specialist indoor facilities, coaching continues all year round. Crucially our coaches and assistants ALL:
Undergo frequent DBS checks;
Attend regular Safeguarding Children Workshops.
There is also always at least 1 fully trained first aid first responder on site to give you peace of mind that your children are in safe hands. These factors are crucial to receive the England Golf ‘SafeGolf’ award.

Junior Membership
Juniors over the age of 14 are eligible to join to enjoy unlimited and unrestricted use of the golf course and practice area unsupervised. Any junior under the age of 14 must be supervised at all times by an adult.
Juniors undertaking coaching at SGA may be able to join unsupervised membership on request.
