ACADEMY COURSE
Our predominantly par-3 (1 par-4) golf course is ideal for a leisurely 9 holes, whether it’s your first round or you are a seasoned golfer. Immaculately presented, open 12 months of the year and with holes ranging from 110-261 yards, we aim to offer an introduction into what you may experience at longer courses, in a more relaxed environment. Open to the public 7 days a week.
Suitable for all standards
At Southport Golf Academy, we aim to provide a course that offers a good challenge to experienced players, but isn’t too intimidating for newcomers. Our 9-hole golf course offers a fair mix of simpler holes, along with more involved designs, ideal for all standards to enjoy.

Important information for all players
We have no trolley restrictions on course, but kindly ask for no bag sharing (clubs and bags are available to hire on a limited basis). We do not enforce a dress code but ask players to be respectful to the standards expected on a golf course. Correct footwear is necessary (golf shoes or trainers) no boots, flip flops, heels or other footwear. If in doubt feel free to contact our team.
Our rangers can exclude players who do not comply with the behaviour and courtesy associated with golf – we teach the game here and like to think our customers will appreciate our values.
Juniors are welcome, but players aged 14 or under must be accompanied at least by a non-playing adult. Our junior members can play in pairs or more unaccompanied, subject to approval.
